If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be? Derek Bell at the Goodwood Revival – then I’d get to drive some amazing old cars.

What will next year’s most overhyped industry buzzword be? BYOD.

Has 2012 been a good, bad or ugly year? For Grey Matter and Sigma Software Distribution, it has been a great year!

What would you have as your last meal? Roast dinner, jam roly poly and custard.

What keeps you awake at night? Seagulls when I’m in Devon, traffic when I’m in Reading.

What piece of technology could you not be without? My Nokia Lumia.

Have any of your predictions come true this year? Cloud will take off slower than the hype would make you believe.

What is the best partner/customer trip you have ever been on? The Silicon Cup from Cowes on the Grey Matter/Microsoft boat.

What do you see as the channel’s biggest challenge in 2013? Continuing to do well in the recession.
