If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be? One of my customers. I’d like to experience how we stack up for myself.

What will next year’s most overhyped industry buzzword be? Collaboration. It’s totally relevant and important but I hear too many people talking about it who don’t have a clue what it is. I know what it’s not though, it’s not a laptop and Webex.

Has 2012 been a good, bad or ugly year? Good. Any year with an uplift in sales can’t be anything else. However, it wasn’t without its challenges.

What would you have as your last meal? Anything as long as nobody tells me it’s my last.

What keeps you awake at night? My three-year old.

What piece of technology could you not be without? My iPhone. I can’t stand to be disconnected.

Have any of your predictions come true this year? Yes, Smart continues to double its corporate sales year on year.

What is the best partner/customer trip you have ever been on? Sydney with BenQ; a great location with great company.

What do you see as the channel’s biggest challenge in 2013? I see IT resellers struggling with AV skills and vice versa. It’s the job of the manufacturers and distributors to make sure we help them upskill.
