If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be? Doctor Who. I would buy a few shares and place a few bets here and there.

What will next year’s most overhyped industry buzzword be? Tablet: “Windows 8 will kill the third device, long live the third device!”

Has 2012 been a good, bad or ugly year? It has been a very good year for the LAR community. We all would like to see more fruit on the trees planted during the Arab spring.

What would you have as your last meal? Kelvin Mackenzie.

What keeps you awake at night? Owls, foxes and injustice.

What piece of technology could you not be without? My third device.

Have any of your predictions come true this year? Cloud, cloud and more cloud.

What is the best partner/customer trip you have ever been on? This year I went to Marrakesh, the most wonderful city I have visited so far.

What do you see as the channel’s biggest challenge in 2013? Persuading software vendors to keep their licensing schemes up to date to reflect their technology.
