Mitchell Feldman
Founder and chief executive, Cloudamour
What was your first job and were you any good at it? I was a hairdresser. I was absolutely terrible but I enjoyed the social side of it.
Who was your top teenage pin-up? It has to be Kylie Minogue. I had a unhealthy crush on her.
My colleagues won't know this about me but... I am related to Marty Feldman (the good looking side of the family).
What is your favourite snack? I love orange ice lollies.
What has been your career high point to date? Winning the best Service Desk in Europe, beating Barclays Bank and Ticketmaster. And being recognised as the fifth fastest growing cloud company in the UK by Microsoft.
Has 2013 been good, bad or ugly? 2013 has been the best year I've ever had in IT. As early adopters of the cloud, our dedication and vision has really started to pay dividends.
What do you say when asked at a party what you do for a living? I tell people we move companies' IT networks to the cloud, and they normally reply "I've heard of the cloud, where is it?".
If I wasn't working in the channel I would probably be... I would love to write a book or be a comedian (my colleagues wouldn't recommend the latter).
What will be the channel's biggest challenge in 2014? Re-engineering their business models to embrace the cloud.
