What was your first job and were you any good at it? Pub work while at college. I drank my profits, enjoyed the social side but wasn't great at pouring a pint.
Who was your top teenage pin-up? Bo Derek.
My colleagues won't know this about me but... I have appeared on Family Fortunes.
What is your favourite snack? Pork pie.
What has been your career high point to date? Other than being asked to lead the UK business at Dimension Data, coaching some students at a local school as part of their entry into the BBC's Young Enterprise of the Year.
Has 2013 been good, bad or ugly? All three - a slow start which got worse but we're now starting to see some green shoots of optimism.
What do you say when asked at a party what you do for a living? I'm a hotel inspector.
If I wasn't working in the channel I would probably be... running a dive school in the Maldives.
What will be the channel's biggest challenge in 2014? Maintaining client value and relevance in the face of vendor direct competition (in the large enterprise sector) while developing lower cost of sale operating models (to succeed in the mid-market sector).
