What was the worst job you have ever had?

My first job was digging graves in a churchyard - definitely my worst job, although I have met a few less lively people in the IT industry since.

Which actor would you pick to play you in a movie of your life?

Clive Owen - he's the actor with the closest birthdate to mine.

What do you do as your party trick?

Eu falo um pouco de Portuguȇs.

What is your favourite chocolate bar?

A bit odd I know, but I don't like chocolate.

What has been the highlight of your career to date?

There have been many high points (and a few low ones) but I'm hoping the absolute highlight is still to come.

Has 2014 been a good, bad or ugly year?

It has been a great year: getting Kite off the ground (sorry!) has been hugely exciting.

How would you explain the IT channel to a stranger without boring them to death?

Some people make some stuff who sell it to some other people, who then sell it to some other people, who in turn sell it to some people who want it. Everyone hopes the process doesn't reverse.

Aside from the channel, my dream career would be... I always wanted to be an F1 driver but Damon Hill was better than me. I'd settle for being a ski bum now.

What major issues will the channel face in 2015?

Margins, margins and margins.
