Shaune Parsons
Managing director, Computerworld Wales
What was the worst job you have ever had?
I worked for six weeks in a leather factory when I left school - it stank. I've been in the IT industry ever since.
Which actor would you pick to play you in a movie of your life?
Harrison Ford. He has had his moments, but is now old and grey like me.
What do you do as your party trick?
Fall asleep.
What is your favourite chocolate bar?
KitKat with my afternoon tea.
What has been the highlight of your career to date?
So many highlights and made so many friends. I think abseiling off Table Mountain with Mike Etherington of then IBM, now Lenovo. A true gentleman. And of course making the A-List since years ago.
Has 2014 been a good, bad or ugly year?
A good year, winning major education contracts and remaining profitable.
How would you explain the IT channel to a stranger without boring them to death?
Impossible, I have tried. However, liken to a few films: Fast and Furious, plenty of Pirates of the Caribbean and a few Mr Beans.
Aside from the channel, my dream career would be... a marine biologist and working with wildlife all around the world.
What major issues will the channel face in 2015?
Cloud security and public sector slowdown.
