Chief executive, Roc Technologies
What achievement are you most proud of?
Winning Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2001 and managing my local boys' team to win the league after an unbeaten season last year.
What has been the biggest change in the channel since you started working in it?
Margins have been squeezed and expense accounts are getting smaller! The channel needs to justify itself by adding value and delivering cloud-based solutions. The product has become the service.
What three things could you not live without?
My credit card, red wine and my passport.
What has been your most embarrassing moment so far?
Going to a client meeting with odd shoes on - one black, one brown. Never get dressed in the dark!
What do your family think you do all day?
Talk nonsense to strangers.
Who is your ultimate celeb crush?
Barbara Windsor.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Property porn.
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
Make military service and community work compulsory for the unemployed. Make private education tax deductable.
Has 2015 been a good, bad or ugly year?
Very good. Roc has added 68 new customers and doubled revenues and profits.
If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would you do? Run a restaurant.
What major issues will the channel face in 2016?
Attracting and retaining the best talent.
