What achievement are you most proud of?
Personally, bringing up four good kids; professionally, leading the company from £500m to £2bn.
What has been the biggest change in the channel since you started working in it?
Margin reduction, volume increases and more grey hair around.
What three things could you not live without?
1. My smartphone to keep in touch with work. 2. Red wine to unwind. 3. Golf to wind me back up.
What has been your most embarrassing moment so far?
I don't do embarrassed, or at least try not to show it.
What do your family think you do all day?
Travel around playing golf.
Who is your ultimate celeb crush?
Kate Moss.
What is your guilty pleasure?
I don't know about guilty but taking the dog for an early morning walk is fantastic.
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
Commit to Europe.
Has 2015 been a good, bad or ugly year?
A good year: we have seen the economy show good signs of recovery, the industry is growing and Tech Data is a great place to be.
If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would you do?
A professional golfer - in my dreams.
What major issues will the channel face in 2016?
Monitoring and increasing traditional revenue streams until cloud reaches maturity.
