Group marketing director, Steljes
What achievement are you most proud of?
Being a mum.
What has been the biggest change in the channel since you started working in it?
The increased reliance on electronic communication and the impact that it has had on customer procurement behaviour.
What three things could you not live without?
My phone, Radio 4 in the morning and coffee.
What has been your most embarrassing moment so far?
Pulling a direct report for being inappropriate for signing off an email LOL. I thought it meant Lots Of Love!
What do your family think you do all day?
I sit in endless meetings all day (they aren't far wrong, either).
Who is your ultimate celeb crush?
Tom Hardy.
What is your guilty pleasure?
The Great British Bake Off.
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
To appoint an MP as Minister for Women and Equalities in a full-time capacity, not expecting the role to be just ‘part' of someone's role as it is at the moment.
Has 2015 been a good, bad or ugly year?
A mixture. It was difficult returning to work post-maternity but incredibly good and fun rebuilding a successful marketing team over the last four months. If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would you do? I think I would have been a great detective so I'd have joined the police.
What major issues will the channel face in 2016?
Demonstrating greater value add from an increasingly demanding client and prospect base.
