What is top of your bucket list?
Play every Open golf course in the UK and US.
What has changed most since you started working in the channel?
The level of understanding about technology together with freely available information. The internet has revolutionised buying.
How do you think Brexit is going to affect the channel?
Prices will rise on the back of uncertainty in the UK and its relationship with the rest of Europe. The government will continue to inject stimuli into the market when required and hence there will be public sector IT investment.

Diary management amid ever-increasing demand on time. Worse is when someone changes arrangements.
If you were an animal, what would you be?
I am sure I got asked this on my Blind Date audition! I am not sure what I said then, but today it would an African wild dog - run all day, never give up, lead a great team, quite cute!
If you won the big one on EuroMillions, what would you do?
Spend the rest of my life giving it away. I would support education charities above all.
What is your worst habit?
I do like Matchmakers.
How has 2016 been for you?
It started slow, got better and is now mental. I have been married to the lovely Sue for 25 years in October.
If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would be your dream career?
DJ - along the lines of Smashie and Nicey. Let's rock.
What major issues will the channel face in 2017?
None - only opportunities.
