Vice president distribution EMEA, HPE
What is your greatest career move to date?
Always the last move.
What is top of your bucket list?
Visiting the Galapagos Islands with my family.
What has changed most since you started working in the channel?
The pace and relentlessness of change.
How do you think Brexit is going to affect the channel?
As a tech leader, we're used to change. History also shows us that both the UK and IT channel are resilient.
What is your least favourite task during the working day?
If you were an animal, what would you be?
A bird. Combining speed and the ability to view the world differently.
If you won the big one on EuroMillions, what would you do?
Invest in startups... essentially run my own Dragons' Den.
What is your worst habit?
Over-communicating (aka repeating myself!).
How has 2016 been for you?
Great. I achieved the majority of work goals set. I feel I made a difference.
If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would be your dream career?
A vintner. I'd be responsible for creating a product from start to finish - raw material to finish product but it involves a little bit of magic (and you can sell or drink it).
What major issues will the channel face in 2017?
Continuing to adapt to changing consumption models and seismic shifts in both vendor and channel landscape. Change will continue to accelerate.
