What is your greatest career move to date?

Leaving corporate life to start ramsac 24 years ago. It was a big risk at the time but the journey has been awesome.

What is top of your bucket list?

To run in the Honolulu Marathon in Hawaii.

What has changed most since you started working in the channel?

The question should be what hasn't changed?

How do you think Brexit is going to affect the channel?

The biggest effect so far is around pricing increases; the market seems to be accepting of this, however. Certainly overseas demand for services is increasing since the June vote.

What is your least favourite task during the working day?

I'm not good at any form of admin. I have various tech-based coping strategies but if I could eradicate admin that would be good.

If you were an animal, what would you be?

I'd be a lion. They don't have too many predators and have lots of space to be outside exercising, eating and doing whatever they choose to do.

If you won the big one on EuroMillions, what would you do?

Invest more in ramsac; clear my mortgage and those of my close family and friends; and there are a few cars that I really need.

What is your worst habit?

Allowing myself to be easily distracted.

How has 2016 been for you?

It's been a great year: lots of strategic growth and development, some really brilliant people joining the team and the end result is we have an awesome place to work.

If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would be your dream career?

I'd be an international business speaker and award-winning author - why? It's on the to-do list.

What major issues will the channel face in 2017?

Lack of skills in the recruitment market and lack of diversity in the industry. Far too few women are at the top of IT businesses, especially in the SME sector, and it is a dreadful shame.
