Becoming chief executive of Technology Channels Alliance.

What is top of your bucket list?

Diving with whale sharks off Western Australia.

What has changed most since you started working in the channel?

The move from physical products to cloud-based everything. It is redefining the role of distribution from molecules to data.

How do you think Brexit is going to affect the channel?

Badly, as per the UK economy as a whole.

What is your least favourite task during the working day?

Completing forms and questionnaires.

If you were an animal, what would you be?

A bear: friendly, easy-going and naturally protective of my friends, family and colleagues... but occasionally prone to anger when provoked.

If you won the big one on EuroMillions, what would you do?

Move to Spain permanently and travel the world.

What is your worst habit?

Just in time productions.

How has 2016 been for you?

Positive: the formation of the Technology Channels Alliance. Negative: Brexit creating unnecessary uncertainty and undermining the pound.

A film producer: business and creativity in a single career (not to mention people, locations, travel and fun).

What major issues will the channel face in 2017?

The fallout from Brexit; continuing consolidation at all levels; and an ever-increasing shift to cloud.
