What is your greatest career move to date?
Buying TIG and becoming the chief executive.
What is top of your bucket list?
Climb Everest, as I am always up for a challenge.
What has changed most since you started working in the channel?
People have become younger and I have got older.
How do you think Brexit is going to affect the channel?
Price increases and uncertainty. The market will experience lots of volatility but opportunity always arises from this.
What is your least favourite task during the working day?
Paperwork.
If you were an animal, what would you be?
I would be a lion, as I would want to be king of the jungle.
If you won the big one on EuroMillions, what would you do?
Give most of it to charity and carry on working. We all begin to age the moment we stop; we have to carry on going.
What is your worst habit?
I drink too much coffee.
How has 2016 been for you?
It has been a year of change and more investment into cloud services.
If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would be your dream career?
A travel agent as I'd like to travel the world.
What major issues will the channel face in 2017?
More volatility and lots of change in the way customers are buying IT services.
