I am crazy about yachting and I love the America's Cup.

What has been your highlight of 2018 so far?

Returning to bike riding in Wiltshire after having spent the last 12 months in Boston.

Pierce Brosnan, with all his James Bond gadgets.

Apple for game-changing the IT industry (from close-to-bust to $1tn company).

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Exploring new countries or even continents on my motorbike.

What is the most irritating tech buzzphrase of 2018?

‘Superfast fibre internet on BT's copper network'.

What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?

Fast-track infrastructure projects in the UK, like France and Spain now have.

What's the biggest untapped opportunity facing the channel?

Adopting the cloud economy.

What is your most treasured possession?

My BMW 1200GS bike.

What do your family think you do all day?

Dreaming up new cloudy ideas called marketing.
