Roger Harry

CEO, Circle IT
Tell us something most people won't know about you
I'd be 6'2" if my legs were straight.
What has been your highlight of 2018 so far?
Finishing the Ironman Wales Course.
Who would play you in the film of your life?
Danny DeVito.
Which tech firm (other than your own!) do you most admire?
Uber - it's all about the software and execution… oh, and customer experience!
What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Clubbing. I love trance music and Ibiza nightlife.
What is the most irritating tech buzzphrase of 2018?
‘Cloud cliff'.
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
Make Cardiff capital of the UK.
What's the biggest untapped opportunity facing the channel?
I'm not sure as if I knew, I wouldn't tell you, I'd be executing it. The cloud particularly 365/Azure as I do think a lot more amalgamations will be needed for companies to survive as adoption of this happens more and more as tin sales dry up. The untapped bit is more about providing business value as opposed to selling tin/solutions so I guess we will all need more business analysis skills to move in this space.
What is your most treasured possession?
My watch for my Strava times.
What do your family think you do all day?
Some work but mainly go out socialising.
