Tell us something most people won't know about you
I worked in a vets when I was much younger for about three years. To be honest it was something I would have done if it wasn't so heart-breaking.
What has been your highlight of 2018 so far?
Being asked to lead a team on the partner of the future strategy board recommendation.
Who would play you in the film of your life?
Anne Hathaway.
Which tech firm (other than your own!) do you most admire?
I admire Google and Twitter just because they feature in our lives so usefully now.
What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Probably just a large glass of red wine. Or a relaxing holiday and some great books.
What is the most irritating tech buzzphrase of 2018?
‘Crypto'. Everyone talks about it but I don't think it is properly understood yet.
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
Anything for a humanitarian cause or any acts that would benefit animal welfare.
What's the biggest untapped opportunity facing the channel?
Intelligent cloud ERP. Adding artificial intelligence to ERP, helping customers to adjust and adopt business processes based on real-time data and insight.
What is your most treasured possession?
I wouldn't say I have any treasured possessions as such but certainly my dog who I love and is a French Briard. He is comical and always puts a smile on my face, even when things are tough.
What do your family think you do all day?
You know that is a good question! I travel so much for business, but I really don't think my family realise that when you visit these places much of the time you are in a hotel, cab or an office only. That said they know I work hard and who I work for.
Who has been your mentor in business?
I am lucky I have worked for some great companies and with great people so there has not been one single person. I have learnt so much from some really talented people and I feel truly fortunate for that.
