Tell us something most people won't know about you

I'm actually reserved and quiet when not in ‘work mode'. Most people don't know I'm only 39 either!

What has been your highlight of 2018 so far?

Driving change within Ingram Micro and building a brilliant team.

Who would play you in the film of your life?

Dwayne Johnson (it doesn't have to be realistic, does it?)

Which tech firm (other than your own!) do you most admire?

Not one but a collective. I love all businesses that don't get consumed by politics, are bold in their visions and live a culture that oozes accountability and passion.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Boursin on After Eight chocolate.

What is the most irritating tech buzzphrase of 2018?

Too many to list - our industry gets too hung up on buzzwords and phrases. Customers don't even know or want to know what they mean, in my experience.

What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?

Refresh and reform the whole system to be more inclusive of the country's diversity and reality.

What's the biggest untapped opportunity facing the channel?

People and maximising potential in everybody across varying diversities age, sex, race, beliefs, nerodiverse, sexual orientation and more.

What is your most treasured possession?

My family.

What do your family think you do all day?

Make phone calls and tell people what to do.

Who has been your mentor in business?

Two close friends of mine now, Henry Godwin (VMware) and Jamie Farrelly (Symantec), are the people I count on most for advice and to sound ideas with.
