I used to be a diving instructor.

What has been your highlight of 2018 so far?

Going 100 per cent device free for two weeks for our family holiday.

I am always amazed at the startup community - innovators, disruptors and incredible visionaries.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Love Island.

What is the most irritating tech buzzphrase of 2018?

"We are fixing our diversity, want to come and work for us?"

What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?

Scrap stamp duty.

What's the biggest untapped opportunity facing the channel?

Embrace the up and coming talent that we're got in startups. Disruptive technology is the key to digital transformation - so grab it while it's fresh and new.

What is your most treasured possession?

My kids.

What do your family think you do all day?

Apparently, my kids think I am on the phone all day. I am paid to be on the phone and boss people about.

Who has been your mentor in business?

I have to say, I will always treasure my time working with Tim Griffin. He's a legend and an awesome leader. He's given me great advice and will always be someone I trust.
