Commercial director, XMA
Tell us something most people won't know about you
I carried the Olympic Torch in 2012.
What has been your highlight of 2018 so far?
Turning 50 - which I will be by the time this is published.
Who would play you in the film of your life?
Ryan Reynolds - you must be able to see the resemblance?
Which tech firm (other than your own!) do you most admire?
Computacenter and SCC, because of how long they have been at the top of their game and their enduring ability to kept adapting their businesses.
What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Chocolate - and I don't care what sort.
What is the most irritating tech buzzphrase of 2018?
‘Pivot'. I spent a week in the US and everyone was busy pivoting their business, their product portfolio, their channel programmes and anything else that they could get their hands on.
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
Ask for a recount - I would make a terrible PM.
What's the biggest untapped opportunity facing the channel?
Fixing the lack of diversity and inclusion. We are a people-driven industry. We must diversify to be the best we can for our customers.
What is your most treasured possession?
What do your family think you do all day?
Drink coffee and give orders, before heading out for dinner.
Who has been your mentor in business?
My dad. He taught me to work hard, be honest and respect other people.
