Founded in 1987, this IBM maintenance specialist claims it manages 10 per cent of the UK's banking traffic from its tier-four datacentre. A new holding company for the Bedford-based firm reported revenues of £47.1m in the year to 30 September 2017, up six per cent on an adjusted basis. Net profits fell sharply to £4m, however, as Blue Chip admitted that a change in its revenue mix in favour of managed services stunted margins.
