Hull-based telco KCOM's systems integrator arm, KCOM Enterprise, has 87 staff and punts contact centre and cloud solutions to large enterprise and government clients, including HMRC and Bupa. This unit saw revenue fall three per cent to £88.3m in KCOM's year to 31 March 2018 due to an unexpected slowdown in government business. Despite incurring £5.3m in losses from two software contracts it exited, KCOM Enterprise's EBITDA rose from £4.5m to £5.1m.
