With annual revenues north of $8bn and 4,000 staff, New Jersey-based Microsoft partner SHI is the largest US minority and woman-owned business. Based on market sources, we estimate its UK arm, which employs 160 staff in Milton Keynes and has been trading for 20 years, boasts an annual revenue run rate of about £285m, 15 per cent up year on year. On a global basis, SHI is enjoying a barnstorming 2018, with first-half revenues rocketing 21 per cent to $4.6bn and its top four vendors - Microsoft, Dell, HP and Cisco - all exceeding that figure.
