Former Avaya UK boss Ioan McRae heaped praise on Maintel's ICON cloud and managed services suite as he was announced as outgoing CEO Eddie Buxton's replacement this October. Maintel saw a "significant increase in all its key financial metrics" in its year to 31 December 2018, as revenue rose eight per cent and net profits widened from £1.5m to £2m. Cloud-related revenues generated £20.7m of its £136.5m top line, with managed services chipping in £44m.
