What has been your business highlight of 2022?
We have just held our conference, NISC, for the first time in a few years due to the pandemic. It was a real joy to be back among the cyber security community again, to talk in person, share stories, trade solutions and spend time with one another again! It was our 21st conference and the feedback was that it was the best yet, which is music to our ears. Watch this space for 2023.
If you were ruler of your own country, what law would you introduce first?
Wow, that's a dangerous thought! It would be illegal to hold meetings without a clear purpose, outcomes or output.
Which channel or tech leader (outside of your own company) has impressed you most in 2022?
Hayley Roberts! She's a force of nature and such a brilliant role model. She consistently demonstrates true leadership and she's done a Ted Talk this year! #Rockstar
If you had a warning label, what would it say?
"If un-caffeinated, approach with caution."
What was your first job?
I worked in my folk's shop from quite a young age, and after that, I worked on the weekends at Boots The Chemist and loved it!
What was the last book you read, and was it any good?
It was The Salt Path by Raynor Winn and I loved it. It's a true story about what happens when you lose what feels like everything and find out what really matters in life #thesimplethings
What's the most important lesson you've learned from another business leader or mentor?
We all feel like imposters at some point.
Who would play you in a movie of your life?
Um, I think the last time you asked this, I said Kate Winslet, and I'll probably stick with that.
