What has been your business highlight of 2022?

Without a doubt, winning Best Sales & Marketing Recruiter 2022 at this year's CRN Sales and Marketing awards!

If you were ruler of your own country, what law would you introduce first?

The Be Kind Law. People are so quick to judge, be negative and hide behind social media platforms in order to release their own anger and frustrations. We need to live in a world where we are kind, supportive and fair to each other. I know that sounds very cheesy and airy fairy but people seem too quick these days to bring each other down. Let's be kind, and pay it forward.

Which channel or tech leader (outside of your own company) has impressed you most in 2022?

I have to say I love what Hayley Roberts of Distology is doing and has done. I find her inspirational not only as a woman but as a leader.

If you had a warning label, what would it say?

"Be warned, needs huge amounts chocolate to function every day."

What was your first job?

My first proper job was working as a lifeguard at my local leisure centre. I did that for six years and worked my way up to duty manager before leaving and falling into recruitment.

What was the last book you read, and was it any good?

Stephen Bartlett's Happy Sexy Millionaire - it's a brilliant book and very inspirational. Also, I might add, the actual last book was Stick Man by Julia Donaldson. My son loves making me read this every night!

What's the most important lesson you've learned from another business leader or mentor?

To not be afraid to make mistakes. I have been encouraged to make mistakes so I can learn from them and build on my experience.

Who would play you in a movie of your life?

Oooh this is a good one. I'd have to say Emily Blunt - she's an awesome actress, funny, confident and very British.
