What has been your business highlight of 2022?

The highlight of 2022 for me has been seeing the difference Insight is making as a solutions integrator to our clients and our teammates. I am incredibly proud that we were recognised as one of the 25 Best Workplaces in Europe by Great Place to Work this year.

If you were ruler of your own country, what law would you introduce first?

I would issue an amendment to the Schools Bill, to teach cybersecurity as part of the set technology curriculum. In a world where security threats are rife, everyone needs to be educated and alert.

Which channel or tech leader (outside of your own company) has impressed you most in 2022?

It's a bit left-field but I am going to say Vidyut Mohan. I am always inspired when individuals use technology to address wider global challenges. Vidyut developed a technology that allows agricultural waste to be recycled into sellable bio products and was awarded the Earthshot prize last year.

If you had a warning label, what would it say?

"Warning! Needs coffee in the morning."

What was your first job?

My very first job was a paper round when I was 13!

What was the last book you read, and was it any good?

I recently read Think Again by Adam Grant. The book focuses on rethinking and relearning in today's rapidly changing world, and takes you on a journey of assessing what you know and what you think you know!

What's the most important lesson you've learned from another business leader or mentor?

Use your platform for the greater good - there are numerous examples of leaders stepping up to drive change in areas such as diversity and inclusion and sustainability - we can all affect positive change if we step up together to make a difference in the world.

Who would play you in a movie of your life?

I would choose Emily Blunt. She is professional and continues to be committed to her career while at the same time being a dedicated mum
