Alexa Greaves
CEO, AAG IT Services
What has been your business highlight of 2022?
Finally cracking the marketing conundrum and working with an exceptional team that understands who we are and what we want to achieve.
If you were ruler of your own country, what law would you introduce first?
The first law I would introduce would be mandatory but free comprehensive health scans for everyone. Health is our true wealth and without it we have nothing.
Which channel or tech leader (outside of your own company) has impressed you most in 2022?
Always Alex Tatham.
If you had a warning label, what would it say?
"Be careful, she remembers everything you tell her."
What was your first job?
Although I had several part time jobs as a student such as chopping cabbage in a coleslaw factory, my first main job was as a corporate foreign exchange trader.
What was the last book you read, and was it any good?
The last non-fiction book I read was The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni. It was told as a story so easy to read although I only really use audio now for this type of book. I have also just re-read one of my all-time favourite books, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
What's the most important lesson you've learned from another business leader or mentor?
It's hard to pin that down to one as I have learnt so much from others, but possibly the most important lesson would be to seek and listen to the advice of others who challenge your thinking in a positive and constructive way.
Who would play you in a movie of your life?
Helena Bonham Carter
