What has been your business highlight of 2022?
We had a kick-off event in September, our first onsite, live event since 2019. Being back together in person with the CCS team and partners in one place was just amazing and a real privilege.
If you were ruler of your own country, what law would you introduce first?
The legal right to the five basic human rights, with the addition of healthcare and sustenance for all people.
Which channel or tech leader (outside of your own company) has impressed you most in 2022?
Pat Gelsinger.
If you had a warning label, what would it say?
"Must have eight hours charge (sleep) to function properly."
What was your first job?
I helped a decorator every weekend and school holiday while at school from the age of 14. I wasn't very good but made a great cuppa!
What was the last book you read, and was it any good?
Play Nice But Win, by Michael Dell. It was a very good read and I would thoroughly recommend it.
What's the most important lesson you've learned from another business leader or mentor?
Always dream big, work hard, stay humble.
Who would play you in a movie of your life?
Steve McQueen - who else could fit the bill?!
