Trustmarque, acquired by One Equity Partners in March 2022, has been a prominent figure in the UK technology sector since its inception in 1987. The company has undergone significant growth and expansion under its new ownership, particularly focusing on cyber security and automation solutions.

With over 900 vendor partnerships, including industry giants such as Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, Lenovo, and Adobe, Trustmarque caters to a diverse clientele ranging from public sector organisations to blue-chip corporations. The company prides itself on delivering tailored IT solutions to foster innovation and technological advancement within client organisations.

Trustmarque achieved Microsoft Azure Expert Managed Services Provider (AEMSP). It bought out Livingstone Technologies in February 2023 in an effort to bolster its capabilities in software asset management (SAM), cloud services, and licensing, further enhancing its value proposition to clients.

In 2024, Trustmarque aims to prioritise the expansion of its professional and managed services offerings, with a specific focus on Azure and cyber security solutions, it told CRN. The company also plans to invest in AI solutions powered by Microsoft technology to provide innovative solutions to its customers.

Trustmarque has identified cloud computing, security, and datacenter solutions as key growth drivers in the upcoming financial year. Additionally, the company remains committed to sustainability initiatives, supporting customers in making environmentally conscious technology investments.

2023 in review

In 2023, Trustmarque underwent a leadership transition following the buyout by OEP. At the end of 2022, Trustmarque was under the management of CEO Ben Richardson, going through a comprehensive rebrand and behind the scenes planning was underway for a company summit in summer 2023.

Fast forward to March 2023, with a new CEO in the form of Simon Williams, and a new CRO, Donavan Hutchinson, the company planned and executed a two-day event in Birmingham's Vox venue, with showcase spots from Microsoft, Cisco and Dell, as well as real-life customer stories and a DEI panel.
