Over the course of its most recent financial year, CAE grew by 13 per cent. It credits the growth to the easing of supply chain issues, though also notes that fulfilment of infrastructure projects delayed from previous years has softened the impact.

2021 purchase Novus Group contributed only marginally, accounting for just 1 per cent of turnover over a seven-month period during which it was included in the total.

Hemel Hempstead-HQ CAE delivered the vast majority of its turnover – 70 per cent – from private sector contracts including banking, it, retail media and insurance, with the rest coming from the public sector.
