What has been your personal highlight of 2025?

The highlight was being selected as a finalist for the CRN Large Distributor of the Year 2025 after winning the CRN Mid sized Distributor of the Year in 2024.

Which tech figurehead has impressed you the most this year, and why?

Tom Corrigan was the tech figurehead that impressed me the most - we liked him so much at QBS that we convinced him to join the firm as our Chief Revenue Officer.

What was your first job in the channel?

Straight out of University I joined CTX – we were manufacturing pc monitors for large OEM’s and my job was to set up a brand and distributor channel. We worked with Frontline, Ingram and Micro P.

What’s your personal sustainability commitment for 2026?

To use less than in 2025.

What’s one hidden talent or skill your colleagues wouldn’t suspect you have?

The ability to complete Rubik’s cubes relatively quickly.

What’s your advice for new graduates/apprentices in the channel, in three words?

Earn and learn.

What was your first day in your current role like?

I can remember it like it was yesterday - As the founder – I was sitting there with a half built product - no customers, suppliers or staff. That day I completed 16 hours, clocked off with a half built product - no customers, suppliers or staff.

Who has been the most influential figure in your career so far?

I would say my first boss – Harry. He hired me straight out of University and spent a disproportionate amount of time with me as we scaled CTX. He was so forgiving of my many foibles.
