What has been your personal highlight of 2025?

My personal highlight of 2025 has been learning to slow down and truly celebrate life’s moments, especially turning 40 surrounded by people who mean the most to me. It has been a year of gratitude, growth and clarity about what really matters.

Which tech figurehead has impressed you the most this year, and why?

Rather than a single figurehead, I have been most impressed by the everyday leaders who lead with empathy and integrity. The ones who show strength through kindness and create space for others to grow. That is the kind of influence that lasts.

What was your first job in the channel?

My first job was as a Resource Coordinator. I loved the analytical side, piecing people and roles together like a jigsaw puzzle. But what I enjoyed most was getting to know people on a personal level and supporting them in roles that suited their needs. It gave me such a sense of accomplishment, like I was helping to make their working lives a little smoother and more fulfilling.

What is your personal sustainability commitment for 2026?

My commitment is to live more intentionally, making small consistent choices that protect my energy, reduce waste and prioritise what truly matters. Sustainability for me starts with balance.

What is one hidden talent or skill your colleagues would not suspect you have?

I have a quiet skill for reading people, sensing energy, emotion and when someone needs support before they say a word. It is something that has guided me in life more than I ever realised.

What is your advice for new graduates or apprentices in the channel, in three words?

Grace over pressure.

Choose calm over chaos and kindness over competition. It is easy to get swept up in proving yourself, but real strength comes from staying grounded and leading with grace.

What was your first day in your current role like?

It was a mix of nerves, hope and quiet confidence. I was really excited to finally be in the role full time rather than side of desk and ready to make a difference in how people feel at work.

Who has been the most influential figure in your career so far?

I do not think there has been just one person. I have been extraordinarily blessed with several people throughout my career, each offering guidance, support or inspiration at just the right time. Every role has introduced someone who has helped shape how I grow and lead, and I take this with me always. I also try to replicate the same for others.
