12. Avanade
Revenue: £370m
Avanade has long been the go-to name for businesses looking to squeeze the most out of Microsoft enterprise tech—and its latest financials prove the formula is working. The consultancy saw UK revenue jump 13 per cent to £370m in FY23, with net profit leaping by a third to more than £52m.
The joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft is continuing to evolve. In March 2025, CEO Rodrigo Caserta—appointed last autumn—unveiled a new-look executive team to spearhead growth in AI and mid-market transformation. Among the arrivals were Danielle Brady as COO, and marketing veteran Ashley Gatehouse, who returns as CMO after previous stints at Crayon, Insight and QUANTIQ (which Avanade acquired in 2021).
The rejig also saw former CMO Ruth Rowan shift to chief growth officer, while Accenture alum Rani Gopalakrishnan takes global charge of Avanade’s Advanced Technology Centres—a 30,000-strong tech force fuelling its AI, cloud and digital transformation push. Meanwhile, Nisha Verma stepped up as chief people officer, continuing a trend of Accenture DNA across the top ranks.
With new leadership and healthy momentum, Avanade says it’s on a mission to help clients become “agile and profitable” through AI-powered reinvention. The launch of a new UKI GM, Paula Panarra, rounds out its regional reset.
