52. EOS IT Solutions

Revenue: £81.7m

Specialising in the installation, maintenance and sale of video communication systems, EOS IT saw revenues rise to £81.7m in its financial year ending 30 June 2023—an 18.8 per cent increase year on year. Despite economic headwinds, the firm kept gross margins steady at 14.7 per cent and continued to invest in its people, highlighting training, staff retention and recruitment as critical enablers for future growth.

The company has signalled confidence in its outlook for 2024, with directors citing early results as “satisfactory” and a continued focus on organic growth and market share expansion. A strong balance of sterling, euro and dollar-based trading leaves EOS exposed to some currency risk, but its board appears to be managing this prudently. Inflation remains a key concern, though the business is taking active steps to control costs and protect margins.

EOS IT’s leadership team is placing particular emphasis on the long-term creation of shareholder value, with plans to scale through measured investment in its workforce. A “satisfactory” operating profit—once adjusted for one-off costs—has underpinned continued confidence in its business model.

With no significant changes to its core focus over the past year, EOS IT remains a steady performer in the unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) space. The firm also reports no significant concentrations of credit risk, thanks to stringent customer verification processes and active monitoring of its financial exposure.
