79. RM Technology
Revenue: £57.7m
RM Technology, part of listed parent RM plc, continues to play a pivotal role in the education sector through its platform-based managed services, IT solutions, and reseller offerings tailored for schools, multi-academy trusts, and local authorities. Operating alongside its sister division RM Assessment, the company is firmly embedded in RM’s broader strategy to become a leading global EdTech provider.
The division saw a 5 per cent dip in revenues over the period, due to a loss of several services contracts and the inclusion of £1.3m for the sale of excess IPv4 addresses in 2024.
On the recurring side, however, RM Technology renewed more than £16m worth of customer contracts. It also signed eight new service agreements. These deals span support for schools, further education institutions, and professional qualification bodies, reinforcing the company's influence across the UK education landscape and beyond.
The division also maintains an international presence, with operations extending to a branch in Singapore, aligning with RM plc’s long-term ambition to tap into growth markets for digital assessment and IT in education. As global demand for on-screen examinations and hybrid learning infrastructure accelerates, RM Technology remains well-positioned to support education transformation at scale.
