80. Annodata
Revenue: £56.9m
Part of the Kyocera Document Solutions empire, Annodata remains a key UK player in the evolving convergence of print and IT managed services. Despite economic headwinds and rising supply costs that led to an operating loss, the Hertfordshire-based outfit still managed to deliver 5% top-line growth during the year – a sign of its resilience and continued relevance in a fiercely competitive space.
Annodata’s ongoing push to expand its IT managed services offering bore fruit, with significant growth in IT and cloud revenues, now complemented by managed cybersecurity solutions. While traditional print remains a foundation of its business, the firm is increasingly positioning itself as a broader digital transformation partner to UK organisations. That strategy aligns tightly with the global ambitions of parent company Kyocera, which is investing heavily in DX and managed IT services across its international portfolio.
With average headcount rising to 285, Annodata says it has maintained a strong focus on people – in line with the Kyocera philosophy of “doing what is right as a human being.”
Looking ahead, the board is sharpening its focus on margin recovery and cost control, with a clear objective to return to profitability in the coming year. With the backing of a global technology giant and a growing suite of IT capabilities, Annodata appears well-positioned to compete in an increasingly hybrid digital workplace.
