92. Getech
Revenue: £47.1m
Getech continues to navigate a challenging and subdued economic climate with resilience, underpinned by its status as an employee-owned trust. Despite external global and domestic uncertainties impacting the UK trading environment, the company delivered a solid set of results in 2024.
Revenue for the year declined 9 per cent to £47.1m compared to 2023, while gross profit dipped marginally by 2.7 per cent (£164,000) to £5.8m — a better outcome than anticipated, thanks largely to a strategic shift toward higher-margin consultancy services.
Education remains Getech’s core strength, with its primary and secondary education sectors thriving. Its Lego Education and Google Education product lines continue to resonate with customers, addressing growing demand in STEM and educational technology. The firm is also embracing the transformational potential of Artificial Intelligence in learning, cementing its role as a forward-looking partner in the education space.
The Google division experienced a 6 per cent revenue increase, reinforcing Getech’s strong position as a leading Chrome Education and Chrome Enterprise partner. Recent investments in the sales team are expected to fuel further growth in Chrome Enterprise throughout 2025.
Higher Education delivered another robust performance, defying concerns over tightening budgets, while the Further Education sector saw significant wins. With Microsoft ending support for Windows 10 in 2025, Getech anticipates rising demand for Windows 11 refreshes, positioning the company well for continued momentum next year.
