Gem is positive about feeling blue

New logo unveiled by gaming and retail distribution giant

Gaming and retail distribution giant Gem has revamped its corporate image in an attempt to underline its evolving role in the sector.

The company has unveiled a new blue corporate logo and has launched two new divisions.

The first, Gem Logistics, will cover its warehousing and logistics facilities and will offer a menu of tailored services. Gem Creative will handle its core sales and distribution business with marketing communication, trade PR and trade show activity.

Gem Creative will also offer point of sale, concept design, packaging and marketing support to all its retail partners.

Chris Peacock, managing director of Gem, said: “We have more than 23 years’ experience in supplying UK retail. However, we have changed significantly over that time to ensure we grow with the demands of both our supply partners and retail customers.

“Our new logo symbolises that we are forward thinking and are growing with our partners’ needs; essentially, that Gem is developing beyond the traditional role of distribution, a result of our valued partnerships with both vendors and customers,” he said.

Simon Lee, commercial director at Gem, added: “Gem Creative was launched in response to increasing demand from our supply partners who will benefit from a greater level of support.”
