Brigantia officially launches as Elovade UK&I

Today, Brigantia officially becomes Elovade UK and Ireland (Elovade UK&I), the next step in our journey since Elovade Group acquired us in 2025 and one I'm genuinely excited about as it coincides with our flagship event of the year, our Annual Partner Conference

Becoming Elovade UK&I

Since the announcement that Brigantia was joining Elovade, the most common question we've been asked is: what does this mean for partners?

The answer is straightforward. Yes, we have a new name and our branding is changing, but in practical terms, that doesn't touch the day-to-day that partners know us for.

The team is the same. The people partners deal with, the vendors we work with, and the support partners have come to expect: none of that changes.

What has changed is what's behind it all.

Being part of a pan-European group gives us access to more resources, vendor relationships and scale, which can translate into better commercial terms for partners.

It also means we can draw on sales, marketing and technical expertise from across the group, to everyone’s benefit.

The changing role of a distributor

The role of a distributor has changed: it's no longer just about supplying products.

Partners want real specialism, deeper expertise and support that goes further than the transaction itself – on compliance, on security, on educating customers, and on commercial terms that reflect an actual relationship.

That's the direction the channel is heading, and it's the direction Brigantia has always been focused on.

This move is built for exactly that: more specialism and more value behind every partner relationship, including how we help partners make sense of AI, not just supply the technology.

Since joining Elovade

Since joining the group, we've moved fast. We've brought two of Elovade's own-brand products into our portfolio: EL Storage, powered by Wasabi and EL Mail Archive, powered by MailStore.

We acquired Zen Software in April this year to bring more complementary offerings to UK and Ireland partners and we’ve signed specialists like Supply Guard and HighGround to tackle supply chain risk and give partners better visibility into clients’ security posture.

Being part of something bigger hasn't slowed us down – if anything, it's done the opposite.

What’s ahead

As part of the rebrand, I’ve taken on a group board position with responsibility for the entire group’s commercial portfolio.

That means making sure partners across every region get the best possible terms, and that the UK and Ireland's voice carries real weight in decisions made at group level.

Brigantia started nearly 30 years ago as a buying group, became a specialist cybersecurity distributor in 2016, and has built a community of thousands of partners by adding real value at every step.

Elovade UK&I doesn't step away from any of that; we have the same ambition, now with a bigger platform behind it.

The name is new, but what built it – quality, knowledge and the relationships behind them – isn't going anywhere. I’m extremely proud of what Brigantia has achieved, and excited to see what comes next as Elovade UK&I.
