Philips Monitors: Where cloud work meets the desk
Philips Monitors is proud to sponsor the CRN Channel Awards 2026 and be shortlisted for Vendor of the Year. As businesses move to cloud-based applications, Philips Monitors and its UK channel partners remain focused on delivering the screens employees rely on every day
Company overview
Philips Monitors offers a broad portfolio of displays for business, education, public sector and home use, brought to UK organisations through a network of reseller and distribution partners.
Its customers range from SMBs to central government departments and global enterprises.
What sets the business apart is its approach to the channel.
Philips Monitors works as a consultant rather than a basic screen supplier, helping partners move conversations away from entry level towards solutions, solving the customer’s real workplace problem.
The ambition is simple: Philips should be the partner all resellers want to take with them into the meeting.
Over the past year, this approach delivered 21 per cent volume growth and 17 per cent revenue growth in the UK.
Solutions for the cloud-connected workplace
Cloud adoption has moved processing off the desk, but every cloud application still ends at a screen.
Philips Monitors helps partners equip that endpoint for hybrid working, hot-desking and large-scale refresh projects. Key areas include:
- Brilliance business monitors with USB-C docking, giving a single-cable connection for power, data and network on selected models.
- Built-in webcams on selected models for video meetings without extra peripherals.
- Ultrawide and high-resolution displays for running several cloud applications side by side.
- Energy-saving features such as PowerSensor and LightSensor on selected models, helping organisations lower power use across large estates.
Customer success: public health business services
Working with one of the top three UK VARs, Philips Monitors supported a national workstation refresh at a business services organisation within the UK public health service.
Dual 22-inch screens were replaced with a single 34-inch ultrawide per desk, giving staff one continuous workspace for their applications with half the number of screens to manage.
The initial deployment covered 600 monitors, and the roll-out is continuing across sites nationally.
Expertise and innovation
Philips Monitors invests in its partners as much as in its products.
Resellers receive practical sales support, product guidance and video case studies they can use with their own customers.
This year the company has also been changing the rules of the game for mid-sized resellers, opening up a level of partnership that was previously reserved for the largest players. 27 new partners joined in its first year.
Sustainability is part of the same thinking. Alongside energy-efficient product design, the Grow Forests at Desk initiative with ForestNation supports tree planting in Tanzania.
The programme works with women-led nurseries, includes fruit trees that help restore local ecosystems, and creates paid work in the communities involved.
Future vision
Three trends will shape the workplace over the coming years.
Hybrid working is now permanent, so desks need to suit whoever sits at them that day.
AI tools running in the cloud and on new AI PCs will put more information on screen at once, raising demand for larger, higher-resolution displays.
Stricter rules on environmental claims will push buyers to look closely at energy use and supplier credentials.
Philips Monitors is preparing its partners for all three.
That means a portfolio built around connectivity, screen space and efficiency, and a channel programme that rewards partners for advising customers well.
The aim stays the same: to help UK resellers grow with long-term customer relationships, built one desk at a time.
