Luke Armitage: Scaling global technology programmes through partnership and precision
As enterprise account manager at Kubus, Luke Armitage is helping customers deliver complex, multi-site technology programmes at speed and scale across international markets
What prompted you to enter the awards this year?
Over the past 12–18 months, we’ve seen a significant shift in both the scale and complexity of the programmes we’re delivering. We’re supporting customers across multiple regions, often within compressed timeframes, while maintaining a consistent standard of delivery. Entering the awards felt like the right moment to reflect that progress and benchmark ourselves against the wider industry. It also gives us the opportunity to showcase the strength of our partnerships and the outcomes we’re achieving together.
What would winning this award mean to both your people and your customers/partners?
For our people, it’s recognition of the effort, adaptability, and attention to detail they bring to every project, often in challenging environments. For our customers and partners, it reinforces confidence that they’re working with a team that can deliver at pace and at scale, without compromising on quality. More broadly, it reflects the strength of the relationships we’ve built and the trust placed in us to deliver critical programmes.
What would you say is your company's proudest achievement over the past year?
Our proudest achievement has been the successful delivery of large-scale, multi-site programmes across international markets, particularly in the US. These projects have required rapid mobilisation, close coordination between stakeholders, and the ability to adapt quickly as site conditions evolve. Beyond delivery, what stands out is how we’ve refined our approach throughout — building a scalable, repeatable model that positions both us and our customers for future growth.
What have been the biggest challenges of the current year so far and how have you overcome them? How have your people/partners helped with that?
The biggest challenge has been maintaining alignment and consistency while operating at pace. As programmes scale, managing evolving design standards, stakeholder expectations, and site-specific variables becomes increasingly complex. We’ve addressed this by strengthening communication, improving governance, and working more collaboratively with our partners. It’s been a collective effort, with teams across multiple organisations contributing their expertise to solve problems quickly and keep delivery on track.
What are the key demands you are seeing from your customers this year?
Customers are increasingly focused on simplicity, scalability, and integration. They want solutions that can be deployed quickly, managed centrally, and replicated consistently across multiple sites. There’s also a growing expectation for systems to work seamlessly together, providing better visibility and operational insight. Alongside this, demand for proactive, long-term service models is increasing, with customers placing more value on ongoing support and optimisation rather than one-off installations.
