Partner Content: Lenovo 360 Circle - Powering a Sustainable Channel Future
Lenovo’s 360 Circle initiative is reshaping the technology channel by embedding sustainability into every layer of its ecosystem. The program unites partners—from distributors and resellers to logistics and procurement teams—around a shared mission: to drive environmental responsibility while unlocking new avenues for growth. This year, Lenovo has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting a sustainable supply chain.
Priorities for the future
Earlier this year, Lenovo published its FY 2024/25 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, detailing the company’s progress toward its 2030 emissions reduction targets and reaffirming its long-term ambition to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The report detailed how 360 Circle’s continued focus will be to drive collective impact via community expansion and expertise growth, enhanced ESG data and performance management and innovation and co-creation for sustainable solutions.
The report outlined how Lenovo 360 Circle is prioritising sustainability leadership by measuring performance, investing in workforce development, and fostering a responsible ecosystem to drive systemic change. It emphasises ESG data management to meet rising demands for transparency and improve sustainability metrics at both product and company levels. The initiative also promotes circular economy strategies to reduce waste, optimise resources, and redesign systems for long-term sustainability. Additionally, the Social Council within the Circle is focused on advancing inclusion and social impact through collaborative, proven methodologies.
Collaboration is key
Collaboration is the cornerstone of Lenovo 360 Circle. By encouraging open communication and shared goals, Lenovo is building a network of partners committed to reducing carbon footprints, embracing circular economy principles, and aligning with global ESG standards. This collective approach ensures that sustainability isn’t siloed—it’s a shared responsibility.
Lenovo brings together partners at its annual 360 Circle Summit, which took place in June 2025, providing an opportunity collaborate on sustainability goals and recognise achievements in climate action.
Leading by example
Lenovo is leading by example in responsible sourcing, working closely with suppliers to prioritise energy efficiency, ethical labour practices, and low-impact manufacturing. Through the 360 Circle, partners are empowered to adopt similar procurement standards, elevating the entire supply chain and meeting the growing demand for transparency and accountability.
Lenovo 360 Circle helps partners tap into new markets and customer segments that value sustainability. By offering eco-conscious products and services, channel partners can differentiate themselves, build trust, and drive long-term success.
Getting involved
Lenovo 360 Circle is more than a sustainability program—it’s a model for how tech companies can lead systemic change. By embedding environmental values into procurement, partnerships, and strategy, Lenovo is proving that sustainability and profitability can go hand in hand.
Partners can apply for membership to Lenovo 360 Circle and identify the stage they are at with their sustainability efforts. "Connect" partners are just starting out and need help establishing their strategy, "Learn" partners have a strategy in place and are ready to expand and "Lead" partners have advanced strategies. Once the partner stage is identified, partners can access resources tailored to their needs ranging from assessment tools to tailored curriculums, access to subject-matter experts, events and webinars.
