Cisco adds Micro-P to distribution line-up
Networking newcomer bolsters UC, storage and CCTV offering by partnering with industry giant
Partnering up: Micro-P is now a Cisco distributor
Micro-Peripherals has been welcomed into the Cisco stable as an SMB-focused distribution partner after its successful launch into the mobile and communications sector.
Simon Barnard, general manager of technical sales at Micro-P, said: “Micro-P is delighted to work with Cisco in the SMB space. With the resources we have at our disposal, we are positioned to increase market share on the SMB networking portfolio and take the message to market in terms of storage, CCTV and unified communications through IP.
“This fits in very well with our recent development into the mobile and communications sector. Being able to offer a ‘one-stop shop’ solution to both voice and data resellers is a compelling message and one that will allow us to grow market share for both Micro-P and Cisco.
“Cisco complements our already strong vendor line-up within the networking space and represents an exciting new chapter in our development,” he said.
Gordon Mackintosh, head of small business and distribution at Cisco UK and Ireland, said: “At Cisco we work very closely with our partners to take our latest technologies to market and drive growth in key markets. Partners are core to our business success and are more important now than ever before.
“Therefore we’re delighted to welcome Micro-P to our fantastic portfolio of partners. We are committed to building partner loyalty across the board and I’m confident that over the coming months we will do so with Micro-P and help drive both our businesses forward.”
