Cameo acquires Agilitas customer base after services outfit goes into administration
This follows poor financial results and the appointment of administrators
East Midlands-based IT provider Cameo has acquired Agilitas IT Solutions’ customer base after the channel services firm appointed administrators.
This comes after plummeting FY25 results for Agilitas.
In June revenues fell 26.4 per cent, from £17.7m to £13.04m in the face of “significant challenges” and the loss of one of its largest customers.
“Our acquisition of the maintenance contract base is designed to provide stability, continuity, and enhanced value to our partner community,” said Cameo MD, Luke Walker.
“Cameo are in a position to acquire this customer base due to our continued investment in our operational and logistical infrastructure.”
This follows a recent report from TheBusinessDesk, stating Agilitas posted a notice of intention to appoint administrators via law firm Eversheds Sutherland on 15 October to protect it from creditor action for a period of around ten days.
“[Agilitas] is facing an uncertain future, TheBusinessDesk.com understands,” the report said.
Agilitas has since published the following statement on its website.
“On 23 October 2025, Michael Magnay and Rob Croxen of Alvarez & Marsal Europe LLP were appointed as joint administrators of Agilitas IT Solutions Limited in administration.
“The administrators encourage anyone who has an interest in the company’s stock or assets to contact them on: ins_agitsl@alvarezandmarsal.com
“The affairs, business and property of the company are being managed by the joint administrators who act as agents of the company and without personal liability.”
Michelle Would, who was only named COO of Agilitas in March, announced on LinkedIn she is leaving the business.
“Time for a new chapter in the world of work,” she wrote.
“I’m looking for a new challenge with a chance to make a difference.”
This news also comes less than a year after Sara Wilkes became CEO of Agilitas, “to continue building a wonderful place to work, where every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute to our shared mission."
