Intec Micros has today unveiled a new identity and strategy centred on networking and intelligent connectivity.

The company’s CEO, John Hayes-Warren, wants the rebrand to reflect the showcase three principles: agility, channel specialism, and customer partnership.

The company’s portfolio now includes three main offerings:

The distie also launched a new e-commerce platform designed to offer a more efficient purchasing option for customers.

It will also make strategic investments in sectors such as marketing, pre-sales consultancy, and technical expertise.

Intec’s new identity, which includes a refreshed website and updated communications, goes live today.

“Technology distribution is changing, and so are we,” said Hayes-Warren.

“But we’re doing it with intent.

“While others chase scale through automation, we’re doubling down on expertise, responsiveness, and the human touch.

“Our customers need more than SKUs - they need insight, clarity, and solutions tailored to their business.

“We’re adopting automation where it adds value, not at the expense of the relationships and expertise that underpin our approach.

“As we sharpen our focus, we’re realigning our teams to better support our growth and the evolving needs of the channel.

“That means making some tough decisions but also investing where it matters - in the expertise and capability that our partners rely on.”

This decision comes shortly after Hayes-Warren was appointed CEO in October last year after heading up Agilitas as chief exec for two years.

Discussing his new role with CRN, the leader explained the company needed “to evolve as a distributor.”
