ITGL boosts commercial market footprint with ISN swoop
New acquisition brings overall headcount to 130
ITGL has bought Swindon-based Intuitive Systems & Networks (ISN) to boost its managed services and cybersecurity offerings.
The acquisition will also focus on strengthening ITGL’s presence in the commercial sector, as well as developing and accelerating opportunities for ISN’s employees.
This new union makes ISN part of Conscia, a Danish cybersecurity and networking solutions provider, which acquired ITGL less than a year ago to enter the UK market.
The merger falls within Conscia’s growth strategy, called the “Fit for Growth” programme, which intends to help ITGL strengthen its market position in the country.
ISN’s 40 employees will keep operating from Royal Wootton Bassett, where the firm is headquartered, all while cooperating with the ITGL teams based in Oxford and Portsmouth.
The newly merged organisation now has 130 employees.
“ISN is an ideal acquisition for us, from a culture, capabilities and market expertise perspective,” said Neil Pemberton, CEO of ITGL.
“With the organisation on board, we are better placed to expand our commercial client base and enhance existing managed services and cybersecurity offerings.”
Richard Titheradge, CEO of ISN, added: “ITGL being a Cisco Gold Partner, with a strong presence in the public sector, means that we complement each other perfectly.
“Additionally, by leveraging the wider Conscia international network, we can create more exciting opportunities for our employees and bring even greater value to our clients.”
Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
This represents the third acquisition by Conscia in the UK and 22nd overall in more than ten years for the Danish Cisco gold partner.
The organisation bought out PlanNet21 Group in October 2024, which added 200 staff to its headcount and brought revenue to over €700m (£583.5m).
Conscia now operates in eight countries across Europe: the UK & Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Belgium.
