Stavers leaves CDW amid internal changes: Sources

Sources tell CRN the move was part of a wider reshuffle of the sales org under UK MD Penny Williams

Kevin Stavers, VP of sales and solutions at CDW UK, has reportedly left the business a year and a half after joining.

Sources tell CRN UK that Stavers and CDW parted ways in late August, amid a sweep of organisational changes under new UK MD Penny Williams.

No replacement has yet been announced for Stavers, but it is understood that wider reshuffles within the sales division are taking place.

CDW and Stavers did not respond to requests for comment from CRN UK.

The move comes a year and a half after Stavers joined the reseller, coming on board as sales and solutions development director after over six years in various leadership roles at Computacenter.

A channel face for around two decades, Stavers has also previously held roles at DimensionData and Mvision, among others.

This is the latest in a series of moves at CDW after Computacenter vet Trevor Nickolls joined the solution provider as corporate sales director in May, reporting into Stavers.

A CDW spokesperson exclusively shared with CRN UK that “Trevor brings a proven track record of driving growth, building high-performing teams, and fostering strong customer relationships” at the time.

Most recently, the reseller has been putting in behind the scenes work into its culture and its CSR strategy, as outlined in its most recent corporate sustainability report.

Jon Steggles, sustainability and social value manager at CDW UK, said the VAR’s workforce had clocked up 4,515 hours’ worth of volunteering in 2024 for a huge range of organisations, and 2025 was set to be even bigger.
