Onnec rejigs leadership team following strong H1 results
The VAR aims to strengthen its in-country operations to be ahead of the digital landscape
London-based VAR Onnec has made dozens of changes to its executive team after the company reported a strong first half of 2025, driven by a positive evolution across various markets.
The H1 results were propelled by the demand for AI-ready infrastructure solutions and datacentre lifecycle support services.
The organisation has made changes to its leadership team as it pursues growth across the different regions it operates in.
Darren Walsh and Shan Slevin join the Irish team, respectively as head of sales and business development and country operations manager.
Still in Ireland, Dereck Barron has been promoted to commercial director of projects.
In Norway, Helene Norman-Dupuy becomes the country’s operations manager.
On the other side of the Atlantic, Chris McLoughlin has been named US operations manager.
Other appointments include a roster of hires across operations, client relationship, business deveopment, technical, service delivery, finance and compliance.
“Our H1 results are a testament to the hard work of our teams and the trust our clients place in us,” said Philippe Huinck, CEO of Onnec.
“As we look to the future, strengthening our leadership and in-country operations is critical to sustaining our growth and staying ahead in an ever-changing digital landscape.
“These new leaders will play a pivotal role in advancing Onnec’s strategic priorities, including sustainability, innovation, and global expansion.”
Huinck announced that further appointments will follow this summer to help the firm achieve it medium- and long-term business goals.
This decision comes four months after the VAR consolidated its operations in the Nordics with the launch of Finland OY, in an attempt to seize the country’s datacentre opportunity.
Onnec ranks number 31 in CRN’s Top VARs 2025 list.
